As this is a campaign to establish cycling on Ashdown Forest, we realise that actions have to be made to persuade the Ashdown Conservators that cycling could be sustainable on the forest.

So far we have carried out the following actions to complete our goal:

Contact the CTC:
We realise that this is an issue that cannot be handled lighty, and although we are keen cycling enthusiasts, we are not experts in such things as erosion and accessability. Therefore one of the first things we did was contatc the CTC on how we could move this foward. Establishing a contact has been one of the most important issues that will gain use credibility for the campaing to get established.

Present to the Board of Conservatives on options and feasability for cycing on Ashdown Forest:
Working with the CTC, we were invited to present to the Board on how cycling on the forest could be achievable. For the draft minutes, click here.

The big push:

To raise the awareness of our campaign to the public, some high profile actions were needed. The idea of a cycle push on Ashdown Forest was concieved, this would both be legal whilst achieving our goal.
